HOMICIDE PREVENTION:
KNIT, IT'S CHEAPER THAN BAIL

I've decided to post pictures of my projects on this page and their progress. Finished projects can be viewed on the Homicide Prevention Gallery Page.

PROJECTS IN PROGRESS......

2/24/10--I started the scarf and got about 6" worth done before I realized that I didn't have enough yarn to complete the scarf  if I went exactly by the pattern. Craptastic! I ripped all my work out (cringing) and started over but reduced the pattern repeats ....hopefully I will get a scarf of reasonable length.

2/18/10--this is yarn spun from a batt that I got in a swap on Ravelry. Anita from www.yarndemon.etsy.com made me two gorgeous batts!! I plyed the yarn and wrapped it in copper lurex thread. I've got 106 yards of this gorgeous stuff and decided I wanted to make a scarf with it...after all, winter doesn't seem like it's going to end anytime soon up here on the mountain. It just so happens that Anita also has a free Mermaid Scarf pattern she wrote for download on Ravelry so I'm going to make Anita's scarf with Anita's yarn. How cool is that!!

2/24/10--I've made alot of progress on this....just to lazy to take a pic. I will get one soon, I promise!
2/18/10--I've made ALOT of progress on this jacket........of course, I haven't even looked at my other projects but that's the way it goes sometimes ;)

2/10/10--Okay, here's the Adult Surprise Jacket with some of the handspun yarn I'm using. I've gotten quite a bit further than the picture shows but am to lazy right now to take a new photo, edit it, and upload it.

2/24/10--This poor project needs to be dusted off........I told Eric I probably wouldn't finish it until spring when it was warm enough to wear it. After I finish the scarf I'm going to work on this before I start another project. socks don't count ;)

2/10/10--I've made some progress on the cardigan but I must admit, it's taking a back seat to the Adult Surprise Jacket. I guess it doesn't matter since it's something for Spring anyway.

1/30/10--I started a crochet cardigan a few days ago......pattern is in one of my Interweave Crochet mags. I've gotten about 5" of the back done so far and will try to get pictures soon though right now it's not much to look at.
